Moncler (MILAN:MONC.MI -0.03%) has just presented its latest footwear for Fall/Winter 2023, a collection that sees the fashion house continue to use sneakers and boots as canvases for experimentation, combining luxury and utilitarian functionality in ways that can be applied to life in both the city and the great outdoors.
In recent times, Moncler outlet store has tapped into the cultural zeitgeist with innovative designs and collaborations that have stayed true to the brand’s core, merging luxury and out-of-the-box aesthetics with outdoor-ready, high-performance functionality. Recently, the brand unveiled a collaboration with Zellerfeld on a new 3D-printed shoe, as well as an all-new collaborative project with Salehe Bembury on the outdoor-ready Trailgrip silhouette. Additionally, Moncler helped Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club celebrate its 20th anniversary with a collection fronted by Clipse’s Pusha T and No Malice.
Moncler online is now continuing to work in the same vein with a new collection of footwear designs that hone in on the label’s outdoor DNA and the best-in-class craftsmanship it has become synonymous with.
Starting with an all-new Trailgrip GTX sneaker, the GORE-TEX design has evolved in vibrant hues of pink and “Forest Green,” while all-over cobalt blue and earthy shades of khaki and beige are found across the lateral sides, toe cap, and heel counter. The shoe is also enhanced with an exaggerated tread and curved rubber toe cap that sits alongside the carbon fiber footplate and Vibram outsole.
The Trailgrip Knit features a breathable and perforated upper – Moncler’s first-ever digital knit – bolstered by a thermoplastic spoiler, microfiber lining, and Ortholite insole.
Meanwhile, Moncler’s new Peka Trek boot sale comes into play as the brand’s most innovative hiking boot for sale to date. Crafted with a Vibram sole, the shoe is then hit with a water-repellent membrane, and micro rubber midsole. However, the boot’s colorway has been carefully picked with life throughout the inner city in mind via the use of black leather and brown suede that can be mixed and matched with traditional hike-wear or contemporary fashion choices.
Moncler also references its classic Maya Jackets sale with the introduction of its Gaia Pocket Winter Boot. The silhouette is designed with a snap closure pocket and boudin quilting, with its waterproof membrane and cozy down insulation available to wear in low-top and knee-length iterations.
Rounding off the collection, Moncler store welcomes its previously unveiled collaborations with Zellerfeld and Salehe Bembury, with the former presented as a 3D printed model, allowing creators to produce a fully-formed factory-free shoe. The latter draws inspiration from a shared appreciation of the great outdoors and is hit with a line of thumbprint quilting across a fine selection of green, orange, and “Pastel Taupe” hues.
You can take a closer look at the new Fall/Winter 2023 footwear collection from Moncler above, where the Trailgrip GTX colorways will be available to shop via select Moncler boutiques and on the brand’s official website from August 31. The wider collection of styles will then be released sporadically throughout the remainder of 2023.
Moncler outlet online learns quickly. The Italian luxury label only fully thrust itself into the sneaker game in earnest within the past couple years but it's already locked-in some high profile collaborators to make its Fall/Winter 2023 footwear collection the best Moncler shoe lineup ever. For real.
Key to this lineup is the Moncler Trailgrip, a fairly recent silhouette that's become indicative of Moncler's approach to sneaker online design. Lightweight despite its volume and treaded for stability, the Trailgrip is as utilitarian as its name implies.
For Fall/Winter 2023, Moncler outlet revamps the Vibram-soled shoe with some poppy (sometimes hairy) colorways and GORE-TEX lining, making the Trailgrip as weatherproof as Moncler's signature winter outerwear.
These are all launching on August 31 on Moncler's web store whereas the rest of Moncler's footwear lineup is rolling out through the end of the year.
Speaking of, other important seasonal revisions of the Moncler Trailgrip include footwear designer Salehe Bembury's "Grain" iteration, covered in his inimitable thumbprint motif — another strong collaborative showing for Bembury and Moncler — and a striking 3D-printed iteration concocted by Zellerfeld the go-to company for folks seeking printable shoes.
Moncler is going especially big on shoes this season, dishing two higher-profile shoes that blend functional outdoor cues with Moncler's typical approach to luxury.
The Peka Trek, for instance, sports the Vibram sole and water-repelling inner membrane you'd expect of a hiking boot but also wears plush leather and suede uppers. Palm Angels is taking this shoe for a collaborative spin come October.
Meanwhile, the Trailgrip Apres — a taller take on Moncler's signature stepper — is receiving a remix courtesy of Billionaire Boys Club as part of the expansive collaboration overseen by Pharrell's streetwear imprint for its 20th anniversary.
It's this hybrid of cultural connotations, technical know-how, and opulent formulations that makes Moncler's latest shoe collection its strongest-ever, indicative of Moncler's growing fortitude with designing both above and below the waistline.
The new Fall-Winter footwear collection focuses on celebrating elegant design with quality materials, featuring excellent craftsmanship while respecting everyday needs.
The emblematic models perfectly combine city and mountain, comfort and versatility to fit active life situations as well as leisure time. The ideas and codes of the different footwear are rooted in the world of outdoor activities: hiking, skiing and city activities.
Maison Moncler also revealed new partners and collaborations that perfectly intertwine the spirit of the brand: a mix of technology, design and also culture. Among the most interesting projects is the collaboration with Zellerfeld, which has introduced a unique and innovative 3D printing process that could revolutionize the way sneakers are made. The Moncler x Salehe Bembury collection, which reinterprets the Trailgrip. And finally, the Trailgrip Après shoe was reinvented by Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
The different color palettes of the Trailgrip GTX Fall-Winter 2023 sneakers will be available from August 31 in selected Moncler stores and on moncler.com. The full range of footwear models will be launched in waves throughout the year.
